About

First of all, I'm not an artist. I'm just a guy who likes to draw and paint. I had no specialised training whatsoever and everything I know is from looking at other people's work and/or watching online videos.

Recently, I made the move from the physical media to the digital arts. So now I don't use pencils and brushes and paper and canvases anymore. Instead, I use a graphics tablet. It's much cheaper on the long run compared to art supplies. It's more friendly to the environment. And most importantly, there's no cleaning up involved. When you get tired or you don't feel inspired anymore, you simply stop working and walk away. You don't have to worry about drying paint or clean brushes or eraser debris. It's extremely convenient. I bought the cheapest Wacom tablet I could find, the Bamboo. There were other cheaper brands but most people recommended a Wacom, so that's what I got. Mine is kind of small but it's good enough for a beginner like me. And there's the added benefit that it's extremely portable. So together with my MacBook, I can pretty much work anywhere. Even though this never actually happens! I usually work in my room.

This website/blog is not really meant to showcase my work as much as it is intended to chart my progress in the digital arts realm. However, feel free to leave a comment or two if you see something you like or don't like.
